Some project partners were active in Catena-X before Aerospace-X, so that contacts could already be established and experiences exchanged during the application phase before the start of the project.

Aerospace-X is networked with the other projects in the Manufacturing-X Coucil, which which is coordinated by Plattform Industrie 4.0, and the M-X Guidance Board, our project partners exchange ideas with other projects in dedicated working groups. Topics such as interoperability, the reuse of already implemented software components, the development of shared data models, as well as governance and operator models are discussed.
In addition, the DECADE-X association is working very closely with ‘big players’ in the aerospace industry to develop and operate the future data ecosystem.
The German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI e.v.) is one of the main partners presenting the progress of the project to Airbus and other partners and receiving important feedback from the industry.
Through its active role in Gaia-X and its contribution to various working groups of project partners such as Airbus, it is ensured that Aerospace-X is involved in standardisation activities and can contribute to them.
Airbus, the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and the DLR are also involved in the Gaia-X lighthouse project COOPERANTS. The aim of COOPERANTS is to use decentralised data rooms to develop more efficient forms for future working methods and processes across the entire life cycle of spacecraft and aircraft.
